Jersey Village is 2-8 against Cypress Creek since January of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Saturday. The Jersey Village Falcons will be playing at home against the Cypress Creek Cougars at 11:30 a.m. Jersey Village will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
Jersey Village proved they can win big last Wednesday (they won by 21) but on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Cy-Fair and snuck past 48-45. Given Jersey Village's advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 333rd, while Cy-Fair is ranked 675th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, Cypress Creek was able to grind out a solid win over Cy-Fair on Wednesday, taking the game 41-28. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Cypress Creek.
Jersey Village's win bumped their record up to 18-11. As for Cypress Creek, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten contests, which provided a massive bump to their 15-14 record this season.
