Roanoke Valley Christian was led to victory by Isaiah Phillips and Luke Somers. Phillips scored 13 points along with 3 steals, while Somers scored 9 points along with 5 rebounds. Alex Nelson was another key contributor, scoring 6 points along with 5 rebounds.
King's Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Roanoke Valley Christian, their win bumped their record up to 1-2.
King's Christian Academy will look to defend their home court on Friday against Christian Heritage Academy at 6:15 p.m. As for Roanoke Valley Christian, they will head out on the road to face off against Craig County at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
