The Iroquois Raiders and the Lewis County Lions will face off at 7:45 p.m. on December 28th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Iroquois is hoping to put an end to a seven-game streak of away losses dating back to last season.
Last Saturday, Iroquois suffered a rough 71-45 loss at the hands of Bullitt East. While losing is never fun, Iroquois can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kentucky basketball rankings (they are ranked 244th, while Bullitt East is ranked 83rd).
Meanwhile, Lewis County pushed their score all the way to 67 last Saturday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting Beth Haven an easy 92-67 win. Lewis County has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Iroquois' loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Lewis County, they now have a losing record at 3-4.
