The Malone Tigers will face off against the Altha Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Malone is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 12 runs per game this season.
Fans were treated to a battle of the Tigers on Friday. Malone came out on top against Graceville by a score of 9-4. The win made it back-to-back victories for Malone.

Trenton Jordan made a splash no matter where he played. He struck out six batters over six innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off one hit. Those six strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-4 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Christian Morales, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with four stolen bases and three runs. Malone is undefeated when Morales posts two or more runs, but 1-3 otherwise. Blaine Benton was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.
Meanwhile, after soaring to 17 runs the game before, Altha was a bit more limited in their matchup on Friday. They came up short against Vernon, falling 12-1. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.
Will O'Bryan made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with three stolen bases. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged three or more in each of the last four games he's played.
Altha's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Malone, their win bumped their record up to 7-3.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Monday as neither team is afraid to steal. Malone has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 5.9 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Altha struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 11.9 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
