On Friday, The Westfield Blue Devils got themselves on the board against the Hillsborough Raiders, but the Hillsborough Raiders never followed suit. They took down the Raiders 17-0. That's another feather in the cap for Westfield, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Westfield can attribute much of their success to Max Cho, who threw for 205 yards and two touchdowns while completing 72% of his passes. Westfield also got help from Enzo Ferrero who showed off his sure hands for 138 receiving yards.
Westfield's victory bumped their record up to 4-4. As for Hillsborough, their loss dropped their record down to 7-2.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Westfield will take on Clifton at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Clifton is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak. As for Hillsborough, they have the luxury of staying home another week and will welcome Howell at 7:00 p.m. on October 27th.
