Searsport scored the most points they've had this season on Monday, but it wasn't enough. They took a blow against the Lee Academy Pandas, falling 59-20. The defeat leaves the Vikings without a win on the season.

Searsport's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Lee Academy, their victory ended a ten-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Searsport will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Jonesport-Beals at 5:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025. Lee Academy also won't see the court for a while: their next game is against Greenville at 2:00 p.m. on January 4, 2025.
