The biggest upset of the week belonged to Elizabethtown, who took down 408th ranked Conestoga Valley, 14-13. Tyler Cottle threw for 139 yards and one touchdown and ran for five yards in the win.
Blake Weaver and Bob Shimko provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Lampeter-Strasburg. The connection was good for 62 yards, the longest such play in Lancaster-Lebanon 2 this season.
Anthony Brown was the most productive running back in the league this week. He ran for 172 yards on 32 carries as the Buckskins bested the Buckskins. Tyler Petri also contributed to the rushing game with one yard on the ground.
Breault was the best wideout in the league this week as Elizabethtown defeated Conestoga Valley. Breault racked up eight receptions for 88 yards. Luke Longenecker helped Elizabethtown's passing attack out by catching two balls for 25 yards.
5-foot-10 quarterback Colin Fry of Manheim Central is the league leader in passing yards this season with 817. He has also thrown seven touchdowns. On the ground, Tom Nichols's team's Brown has rushed for 507 yards which leads the league. The leading receiver in the league this season is Breault. The Elizabethtown star has 31 catches for 354 yards.
The top two teams in the league will face off this week when first place Manheim Central takes on second place Cocalico. Last week, the Barons beat Lebanon, while Cocalico bested Solanco.
The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when the Eagles take on Manheim Central. Cocalico has allowed 42 points this season, while Mike Williams's team has given up 64. Dave Gingrich's team allowed 7 points last week as it beat the Golden Mules.
There should be lots of points scored when the Eagles and the Barons face off this week. The top two offenses in the league, Cocalico comes in having scored 136 this season, while Manheim Central has scored 207. The Eagles scored 43 points last week as they bested Solanco.
Mike Cottle's team moved up to 404 from 443 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Bears were able to make the jump by beating the Buckskins 14-13.
