Basketball Recap: St. Francis Piles Up the Points Against Atlanta International

You're bound to get a positive result if you outscore your opponent every quarter, and that's exactly how it played out for St. Francis on Friday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that they blew the Atlanta International Eagles out of the water with an 80-24 final score. The matchup marked the Knights' most dominant victory of the season so far.

Leading St. Francis to victory were G Rogers and Adison Branch. Rogers went 7 for 8 on her way to 16 points and seven rebounds, while Branch went 7 of 11 on her way to 17 points. That's the most boards Rogers has posted since back in December of 2023. The team also got some help courtesy of Peyton Mann, who posted seven points and four steals.

St. Francis smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 15 offensive rebounds in three consecutive contests.

St. Francis' win was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-0. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.3 points per game. As for Atlanta International, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 6-2.
