Volleyball Recap: Winfield's Win on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Winfield waltzed into their match on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Point Pleasant Big Blacks by a score of 2-0. That's more bragging rights for the Generals, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Winfield easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-10.

Brooklyn Cole paced Winfield's offense, picking up seven kills. Cole got some help from Macee Shock and her 12 assists.

Winfield's victory bumped their record up to 19-6-2. As for Point Pleasant, they dropped their record down to 9-12-1 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Winfield has already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Spring Valley on the 2nd. As for Point Pleasant, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against Lincoln County on the 30th.
