Scott has gone a perfect 5-0 against WestSide recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Skyhawks will welcome the Renegades at 5:30 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Scott is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of West Virginia's top teams: Hurricane, who was ranked third at the time (Scott was ranked 22nd). The Skyhawks came up short against the Redskins on Thursday, falling 11-1. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Skyhawks, who until this match were averaging 3.8 runs allowed.

Scott saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Louden White, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Thursday just wasn't the day for WestSide's offense. They lost 13-0 to Wyoming East on Thursday. Having soared to a lofty 20 runs in the game before, the Renegades' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

WestSide has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-11 record this season. Those losses can't be blamed on the team's hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.3 runs over those games. As for Scott, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 17-6-2.

WestSide's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Scott hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .324. It's a different story for WestSide, though, as they've only averaged .259. Will they be able to contain Scott's hitters?
