The McNair Eagles lost against the Sonora Wildcats last Thursday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. McNair was the victim of a rough 71-48 defeat at the hands of Sonora. McNair has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Roger Edwards was the offensive standout of the game as he scored 17 points along with 7 rebounds and 6 assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Jonathan Curran, who scored 9 points along with 7 assists.
McNair's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Sonora, their victory bumped their record up to 3-6.
McNair is on the road again on Saturday and play against Liberty Ranch at 12:00 p.m. on December 9th. Liberty Ranch is coming into the contest on a five-game losing streak. As for Sonora, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Lathrop at 7:15 p.m. on Monday.
