The School of the Ozarks Patriots waltzed into Friday's match with two straight wins but they left with three. They took down Wheaton 55-38.
School of the Ozarks got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Holland Houston out in front who dropped a double-double on 10 points and 16 rebounds. Houston is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Lily Todd was another key contributor, scoring 18 points along with 7 rebounds and 3 steals.
School of the Ozarks' victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Wheaton, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
School of the Ozarks will head out on the road to face off against Exeter at 5:00 a.m. on Monday. As for Wheaton, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Northeast Vernon County at 6:00 p.m.
