Softball Recap: Mead Beats Ferris for Their Fourth Straight Victory

Mead waltzed into their contest on Monday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came out on top against the Ferris Saxons by a score of 17-13. For the Panthers, this counts as revenge for the 6-5 win the Saxons walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.

Mead pushed their record up to 9-1 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 17.0 runs over those games. As for Ferris, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-7.

Mead didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 12-2 victory against Central Valley on the 15th. As for Ferris, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 14-0 loss against Mt. Spokane on the 15th.
