Basketball Game Preview: Babylon Panthers vs. Mattituck Tuckers

Babylon is 1-9 against Mattituck since December of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Babylon Panthers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Mattituck Tuckers at 6:15 p.m. Babylon is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last eight games.

Babylon will head into Thursday's contest hoping to keep the good times rolling: they had to skate by with only a two-point margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the 22-point drubbing they dealt Pierson/Bridgehampton on Thursday. Babylon was the clear victor by a 46-24 margin over Pierson/Bridgehampton. The Panthers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six games by 21 points or more this season.

Babylon relied on the efforts of Peyton Logue - Boyd, who posted 15 points, and Morgan Fiedler, who put up 15 points. The matchup was Fiedler's sixth in a row with at least ten points.
