Destiny Christian waltzed into their game  on Sunday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They walked away with  a   10-6  win over the Sunrise Christian Academy Buffaloes. This was a revenge game for the Wildcats: when they faced off against the Buffaloes  two weeks ago, they had to take a  17-8  loss.
 Zoey Landers made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she  didn't allow a single  earned run while striking out 11 over eight innings pitched. Those  11  strikeouts gave  her a new career-high. She was also stellar in the batter's box,  going 3-for-4 with three  runs, three  RBI,  and one  triple.
 In other batting news,  Rae Whomble was  excellent,  going 3-for-5 with two  runs, one  stolen base,  and one  RBI. She has been hot for a while, having  posted  at least one  stolen base the last 11 times she's  played.  Saniyah Page was another key player,  going 3-for-4 with two  runs and one  double.

Destiny Christian's victory bumped their record up to 17-2. As for Sunrise Christian Academy, their  defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 2-3.
As of now, neither Destiny Christian nor the Buffaloes have any future games scheduled.
