The McLane Highlanders have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four  contests by 20  points or more this season. They put the hurt on Paso Robles with a sharp  71-51 win on Wednesday. That's another feather in the cap for McLane, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
  James Brown was  his usual excellent self,  scoring 25 points along with five  assists and five  steals. The  game was  his ninth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was  Cedric  Hughes , who  almost  dropped  a triple-double on 14 points, 11  rebounds, and nine  assists.
 The  win  got McLane back to even at 6-6. As for Paso Robles, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-5.
 McLane will be home for the holidays to greet  Fresno at 6:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. Paso Robles will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Montclair at 3:00  p.m.  on December 27th.
