Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Avon to victory, but perhaps none more so than Alaina Pagan, who scored 16 points along with four steals. Those 16 points set a new season-high mark for her. Amelia Holbrook was another key contributor, scoring seven points.
Avon has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season. As for Bay, they bumped their record down to 3-7 with that defeat, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season.

Bay's road trip will continue as they head out to face Rocky River at 5:30 p.m. on January 5th. Rocky River presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Bay in Ohio (Rocky River is ranked 235th, while Bay is ranked 540th).
