The Plum Creek Christian Academy Explorers won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Tuesday. They were outmatched by Bible Baptist on the road and fell 53-22. Plum Creek Christian Academy was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Bible Baptist apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in November of 2023.
David Stapleton was the offensive standout of the game as he scored 24 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Clayton Luchene, who scored 14 points.
Plum Creek Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Bible Baptist, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-5.
Plum Creek Christian Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Emmanuel Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Bible Baptist, they will be playing at home against Varsity Opponent at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Varsity Opponent has now lost ten straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since January 15.
