South Putnam's game  on Thursday was a  loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them  on Saturday. They came out on top against the North Putnam Cougars by a score of  2-0. The  win was some much needed relief for the Eagles as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.
 Elliana Cox paced South Putnam's offense, picking up seven kills. Cox got some help from  Mia Wells and her seven assists.  Laura-Jane Switzer controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.
