Superior Central had lost six games on the road dating back to last season, but after bumping their record up to 2-5 on Friday that streak is in the rearview. They blew past the Bark River-Harris Broncos 23-2. The Cougars' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

As for Bark River-Harris, they now have a losing record of 1-2. They have struggled against Superior Central recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

For Bark River-Harris' part, they saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ella Gonzales, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Superior Central will host Rapid River at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Bark River-Harris, they will welcome Hancock at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
