Highland Home made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Goshen, but they still couldn't quite topple them. Highland Home was the clear victor by a 17-7 margin over Goshen on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for the Flying Squadron, who have now won five matchups by ten runs or more so far this season.

The win (which was Highland Home's third in a row) raised their record to 5-4. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 17.0 runs over those games. As for Goshen, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-8.

Coming up, Highland Home will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Central at 4:00 p.m. As for Goshen, they will head out to challenge Pike Liberal Arts at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
