At the plate, Lucas Dufresne was excellent, going 1-for-3 with three RBI, a stolen base, and a double. Max Eidelman was another key contributor, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.
Dr. Phillips' loss dropped their record down to 1-12. As for West Orange, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-2.
Dr. Phillips will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Apopka at 11:00 a.m. As for West Orange, they will square off against The First Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams have allowed few runs on average, (West Orange: 1.9, The First Academy: 3.1) so any runs scored will be well earned.
