After flying high against the Toombs County Bulldogs last Friday, the Dublin Fighting Irish came back down to earth. Dublin took a 44-37 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Royals on Tuesday. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Dublin has scored all season.
Dublin's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Nahallie Turnley, who dropped a double-double on 23 points and 11 rebounds, and Tahara Diallo who scored six points along with eight rebounds and three steals.
Dublin's defeat dropped their record down to 16-6. As for Bleckley County, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 14-8 record this season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dublin will take on the Warriors at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bleckley County, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Falcons at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully East Laurens focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 26 on Tuesday.
