Given the Whirlwinds' advantage in MaxPreps' Missouri football rankings (they are ranked first, while the Tigers are ranked 26th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Osceola's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Archie, they pushed their record up to 3-0 with that victory, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season.
