Coastal Academy won the last time they faced Orange Glen and things went their way on Thursday too. Coastal Academy came out on top against Orange Glen by a score of 3-1.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 20-25, 26-24, 25-17.

Zac Garland paced Coastal Academy's offense, picking up 27 kills. Garland got some help from Cole Sulouff and his 49 assists.

Coastal Academy's victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 8-10. As for Orange Glen, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-11.

After both having extra time off, Coastal Academy and La Jolla Country Day will shake off the rust and duke it out at 4:00 p.m. on April 8. As for Orange Glen, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against El Camino on the 28th.
