On Thursday, Cleveland Hill beat Global Concepts 50-43.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Cleveland Hill to victory, but perhaps none more so than Cameron D'Hilly, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and ten rebounds. D'Hilly is trending in the right direction, as he's improved his point production for three games straight. The team also got some help courtesy of Daniel Yosifov, who scored six points along with ten rebounds and eight blocks.
Several Gators players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Edwin Garcia, who scored 17 points. Jordan Torres was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Cleveland Hill's win bumped their record up to 5-9. As for Global Concepts, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-10.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cleveland Hill will take on East Aurora at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Cleveland Hill is coming into the contest with six straight wins on the road, meaning East Aurora will have to defend against a team hungry for a win. As for Global Concepts, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Kennedy on February 2nd. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in New York (Kennedy is ranked 761st, while Global Concepts is ranked 737th).
