The Interboro Buccaneers were the 44-18 winner over the Penn Wood Patriots when they last played one another back in October of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. Interboro ended up on the wrong side of a rough 42-21 walloping at the hands of Penn Wood on Friday.
Penn Wood got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Kivaleon Clarke out in front who picked up 185 receiving yards and two touchdowns, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. Ahmaad Felder was another key contributor, rushing for 17 yards and a touchdown.
Interboro has been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season. As for Penn Wood, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-7.
Interboro will have plenty of time to ponder what went wrong as they've got a bye scheduled next week. After, they'll take on Ridley at 10:30 a.m. on November 23rd. Penn Wood does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
