Frontier School of Excellence simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat Hyman Brand Hebrew Academy 63-26 at home. With that win, Frontier School of Excellence brought their scoring average up to 53 points per game.
Frontier School of Excellence relied on the efforts of Merwis Ramirez Rodriguez, who scored 16 points, and Mohamed Yussuf, who scored 20 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Henry Uti, who scored 8 points.
Meanwhile, Kansas School for the Deaf gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener back in November. They secured a 59-54 W over Ozanam.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Kansas School for the Deaf to victory, but perhaps none more so than Eli Grove, who scored 23 points along with 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Another player making a difference was EJ Wigley, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 11 rebounds.
Frontier School of Excellence's victory bumped their season record to 3-0 while Hyman Brand Hebrew Academy's defeat dropped theirs to 0-2.
Some high-performance offense is likely on the agenda as Frontier School of Excellence and Kansas School for the Deaf are some of the highest scoring teams in the league. Frontier School of Excellence hasn't had any problem running up the score this season, having only averaged 53 points per game. However, it's not like Kansas School for the Deaf struggles in that department as they've been even better at 59 per game.
