While Jefferson Davis Academy's win against Wardlaw Academy wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Jefferson Davis Academy Raiders came out on top in a nail-biter against the Wardlaw Academy Patriots on Tuesday, sneaking past 6-4. The victory continues a trend for the Raiders in their matchups with the Patriots: they've now won seven in a row.

Kaylee Jackson spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and one unearned) runs on seven hits.

At the plate, Abby Deering was excellent, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 3-for-4. Elie Fogle also deserves some recognition as she scored her first run of the season.

Jefferson Davis Academy's win bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Wardlaw Academy, they now have a losing record of 2-3.
