Metro Tech lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Erick Morales, who scored 13 points along with five rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Morales has scored all season. Oswaldo Lopez Vargas was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
Metro Tech's loss was their sixth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 2-16. As for Sierra Linda, their win ended a 14-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 1-14.
