Mahopac also got a great performance from Ellie Gerleit as she pitched five innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off four hits. Gerleit has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks any time she's pitched this season.
On the hitting side, Alenah Gomes was a standout: she went 2-for-4 with three runs, four RBI, and two doubles. Another player making a difference was Camdyn Wilson, who went 3-for-4 with three runs, two doubles, and two RBI.
Mahopac kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Walter Panas only managed seven.
Suffern's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Mahopac, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
