Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but unfortunately for The East Rochester-Gananda Bombers, they weren't the ones who walked away with it. They were dealt a 37-6 defeat at the hands of Le Roy on Friday. East Rochester-Gananda's defeat signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.
Le Roy got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Drew Strollo out in front who rushed for 112 yards and three touchdowns. Tony Piazza also helped out as he racked up 122 rushing yards.
East Rochester-Gananda's loss dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Le Roy, their win was their sixth straight at home , which pushed their record up to 10-0.
East Rochester-Gananda does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Le Roy will take on Attica/Alexander at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. Attica/Alexander is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
