The Bethesda Academy put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past Greenwood Christian 50-6 at home. The result was nothing new for Bethesda Academy, who have now won nine matches by 20 points or more so far this season.
Noah Jenkins was his usual excellent self, rushing for 273 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 13.7 yards per carry. Jenkins really tore up the turf during one magnificent 76-yard run. Raleigh Wesley made the highlight reel by snagging an interception and taking it all the way to the house.
Bethesda Academy's win was their sixth straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 11-0. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 43.2 points per game. As for Greenwood Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-7.
Bethesda Academy will square off against Northside Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Northside Christian Academy's favor is that they have now posted big point totals in their last three matchups. Greenwood Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
