The Rangeview Raiders''s recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their sixth straight loss. They were beaten by Mullen 34-0. While losing is never fun, Rangeview can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Colorado football rankings (they are ranked 140th, while Mullen is ranked 41st).
Jahiem Alexander rushed for 70 yards. Jibreal Jones was his top target, picking up 31 receiving yards.
Mullen found their leader in underclassman Dante Dupuch, who rushed for 213 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 8.2 yards per carry. Koa Dietrich was another key contributor, throwing for 185 yards and a touchdown while completing 90.9% of his passes.
Rangeview's loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their overall record down to 1-9. As for Mullen, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season.
Rangeview does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Mullen will head out on the road to face off against Denver East at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Denver East is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
