Meanwhile, Lighthouse Christian pushed their score all the way to 61 on Thursday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell just short of Cassville by a score of 63-61. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat Lighthouse Christian has suffered yet this season.
Logan Nigh put forth a good effort for the losing side as he scored 28 points. That's the first time this season that he scored 15 or more points. Lee Stinson was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with nine rebounds and four steals.
Greenfield's loss dropped their record down to 0-15. As for Lighthouse Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 8-7.
Greenfield strolled past Lighthouse Christian in their previous meeting back in December of 2014 by a score of 80-61. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was Lighthouse Christian's Jason Steward, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 16 rebounds.
