Melbourne Central Catholic has not had much luck with Lincoln Park Academy recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Several Hustlers players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Hayden Deane, who scored 15 points along with seven rebounds and two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Tristan Hamilton, who scored nine points along with six rebounds and three steals.
Melbourne Central Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 9-4. As for Lincoln Park Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 3-11 record this season.
Melbourne Central Catholic will head out on the road to square off against Brevard Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Lincoln Park Academy, they will stay at home for another game and welcome Port St. Lucie at 6:00 p.m. on January 23rd. Port St. Lucie knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past 12 contests -- so hopefully Lincoln Park Academy likes a good challenge.
