Delta won the last time they faced Greenfield-Central and Jillian Barr did her part to make sure it happened again. The Eagles walked away with a 53-41 victory over the Cougars on Saturday with plenty of help from Barr, who dropped a double-double with 18 points and 11 rebounds. She is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in each of the last 18 games she's played dating back to last season.

When it comes to explaining why Greenfield-Central lost, don't look at Izzy Silcox. Despite the final result, she shot 47% from the field on her way to 24 points and four steals. Another player making a difference was Aubrey Bush, who posted two points along with six boards and five steals.

Delta's record is now 9-2. As for Greenfield-Central, their loss dropped their record down to 4-8.

Delta and Lapel will round out the year against one another at 9:00 a.m. on the 29th. The Eagles' defense better be ready for this one: the Bulldogs have averaged an impressive 57.7 points per game this season. As for Greenfield-Central, they have already played their next matchup, a 51-37 win against Lebanon on the 27th.
