The Somerset Berkley Regional Raiders won the last time they faced the Mt. Hope Huskies, and things went their way on Friday too. Everything went Somerset Berkley Regional's way against Mt. Hope as Somerset Berkley Regional made off with a 64-41 win.
Mt. Hope lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Elsa White, who scored 17 points along with five rebounds and two steals. White hasn't dropped below 15points for five straight games. Another player making a difference was Lilly DaSilveira, who scored 14 points along with two steals.
The victory got Somerset Berkley Regional back to even at 2-2. As for Mt. Hope, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 5-7.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Somerset Berkley Regional will challenge Bourne at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Mt. Hope, they will head out on the road to take on Mt. Pleasant at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Mt. Pleasant comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
