Alden Hardwick made a big impact no matter where she played. She pitched three innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run but no hits. What's more, she posted four strikeouts, the most she's had since back in February. She was also solid in the batter's box, earning two runs and three stolen bases.
In other batting news, Landri Sandifer was a standout: she went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, five RBI, and two runs. Those five RBI gave her a new career-high. Lilly Braneff was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with four RBI, two runs, and one double.
Singer always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .852. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an OBP of .514 or higher in four consecutive matchups.
Singer has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-13 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.8 runs over those games. As for Johnson Bayou, their loss dropped their record down to 0-10.
