Baseball Recap: Shallowater Extends Winning Streak to Four

Shallowater entered their tilt with Dimmitt on Saturday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They put the hurt on the Bobcats with a sharp 12-1 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Mustangs also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2025.

Shallowater's victory bumped their record up to 13-2. As for Dimmitt, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-3.

Shallowater and Dimmitt should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings. The Mustangs will face off against Friona at 4:30 p.m. on Monday with a big rank advantage (128 vs. 983). Meanwhile, Dimmitt (ranked 200th) will meet Idalou (ranked 626th) at 1:00 p.m. on Monday.
