There's no place like home for Reading, who bounced back after a  loss on the road  last Wednesday. They blew past the William Penn Bearcats 9-0 on Saturday. The Red KNights haven't had any issues with the Bearcats recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive  victory against them.

  Janser Paredes was  incredible,  going 3-for-4 with one  home run, three  stolen bases,  and two  runs. The dominant performance gave  him a new career-high in  stolen bases. The team also got some help courtesy of  Leuris Alacantara, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 1-for-3.
The  win  got Reading back to even at 1-1.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Reading will face off against J.P. McCaskey at 4:00  p.m.  on Monday. As for William Penn, they will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on Steelton-Highspire  at 4:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. William Penn has now lost 15 straight dating back to last season, leaving the team hunting for their first win since April 6.
