A Season-Best Performance from KODEY MCKINNEY Leads St. Joseph-Ogden over Bloomington Central Catholic
On Friday, St. Joseph-Ogden got the W thanks in part to KODEY MCKINNEY playing the best football he has all season. MCKINNEY threw for 332 yards and four touchdowns while completing 76.5% of his passes, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground.
The victory for St. Joseph-Ogden keeps them at an undefeated 6-0. MCKINNEY and St. Joseph-Ogden will be playing at home against Pontiac at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Robert Boyd-Meents Dazzles in Paxton-Buckley-Loda Win
Robert Boyd-Meents was instrumental in extending Paxton-Buckley-Loda's winning streak to six on Friday. Boyd-Meents was dynamite, rushing for 188 yards and two touchdowns.
If history really does repeat itself, Boyd-Meents might just drop another big game when he faces off against Monticello on Friday. Boyd-Meents rushed for 120 yards and three touchdowns the last time he and the Sages duked it out back in October of 2023.

Prairie Central had to settle for second on Friday, but Will Skala sure wasn't going down easily. Skala turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 28 yards and a touchdown.
This season, Skala has run in 3 touchdowns while averaging 17.3 rushing yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he had one rushing touchdown.

Coy Taylor Crosses Big Stat Threshold
St. Joseph-Ogden picked up their sixth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Coy Taylor. Taylor showed up in a big way, picking up 182 receiving yards and a touchdown. He's now once again averaging 100+ receiving yards (108) per game. He was no stranger to the big play, lighting up the secondary with a catch that went for 52 yards.
If the past is any indication, Taylor could be in store for another big game when he takes on Pontiac on Friday. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Taylor saw the Indians), he picked up 145 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
