Like Stone Memorial, Gordonsville also got a great game from a two-way player: Sam Albritton. He didn't allow a single earned run and only one hit while striking out seven over four innings pitched. Albritton was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with a triple, a run, and an RBI.
In other batting news, Tucker Smith was excellent, scoring a run and stealing three bases while going 1-for-3.
Stone Memorial's loss dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Gordonsville, the victory got them back to even at 5-5.
