The Wake Prep Academy Guardians will challenge the Princeton Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
Last Thursday, Wake Prep Academy didn't have quite enough to beat Nash Central and fell 3-2. While the Guardians didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Bulldogs 25-16 in the first set.
Wake Prep Academy was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Nash Central work for it, especially in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 16-25, 27-25, 25-16, 20-25, 15-9.

Wake Prep Academy's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Campbell Sheldon, who had five digs and four aces, and Josie Osborne, who had 15 kills, nine digs, and one block. Osborne has been hot recently, having posted six or more kills the last three times she's played.
Meanwhile, it can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Princeton had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They put the hurt on the Tigers with a sharp 3-0 victory. The Bulldogs haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.
The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-18, 25-12.
Princeton's victory bumped their record up to 12-10. As for Wake Prep Academy, their defeat ended a three-match streak of away wins and brought them to 18-6.
