Those  two  RBI gave  her a new career-high.
 In other batting news,  Layne Churchill and  Gwen Beach did most of the damage at the plate:  Churchill  went 1-for-2 with one  home run, three  RBI,  and two  runs, while  Beach  went a perfect 2-for-2 with three  runs and three  RBI. Those  three  runs gave  Beach a new career-high.  Brielle Kelly was another key player,  going 2-for-3 with two  RBI, one  run,  and one  double.
 Coming up, Hastings will head out on the road to  square off against  Ionia  at 4:00  p.m.  on Thursday. As for Marshall, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Olivet  at 4:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
