Westport and Southeastern RVT are an even 5-5 against one another since December of 2015, but not for long. The Westport Wildcats will head out on the road to take on the Southeastern RVT Hawks at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Westport has now lost seven straight, leaving the team is hunting for their first win since January 24.
On Friday, Westport suffered a tough 61-36 loss at the hands of Avon. Westport was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 31-2.
Meanwhile, Southeastern RVT unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Thursday. They were beaten by New Mission 81-54. Southeastern RVT has not had much luck with New Mission recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Westport's defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-23. As for Southeastern RVT, their loss dropped their record down to 7-7.
Westport came up short against Southeastern RVT in their previous meeting last Tuesday, falling 57-46. Can Westport avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
