Riverside extended their losing streak  to four  on Friday, dropping them down to 2-6. They were beaten by the Heppner Mustangs 56-6. The Pirates were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at  48-0.
 Osmin Barrera threw for 80 yards and one  TD.   Jeremias Calvillo was his top target, picking up 55 receiving yards and one  touchdown.
As for Heppner, the  win keeps them at an undefeated 8-0. Considering they have won seven matchups by more than 34  points this season, Friday's  blowout was nothing new.
 Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Heppner to victory, but perhaps none more so than   Alakae Rodriguez, who rushed for 49 yards and one  score. Rodriguez also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, making six total tackles (1.0 for loss) and defending one pass.
