The result was nothing new for Rocket City, who have now won six contests by 23 points or more so far this season.
It was another big night for Lucian Borchers, who scored 33 points along with eight rebounds and seven steals. The match was his fifth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kai Parsons, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds.
The win was the fourth in a row for Rocket City, bringing their record for this year to 8-8. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 77.3 points per game. As for Cornerstone Christian, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.
Rocket City will be playing at home against Evangel Christian at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Cornerstone Christian and Tabernacle will face off at 7:30 p.m. on January 12th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. The timing is sure in Tabernacle's favor as the squad sits on six straight wins at home while Cornerstone Christian has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.
