After a big victory against Veritas Christian three weeks ago, Manhattan Eagles came back down to earth. Manhattan Eagles fell just short of Junction City by a score of 7-9. Things were expected to be close, but in this case the state rankings mixed up the winning team.
The loss dropped Manhattan Eagles' record to 2-3. The victory bumped Junction City's record up to 5-2.
Manhattan Eagles will have some time to rest before their next match, which is against Cair Paravel in two weeks. As for Junction City, they will face off against Seaman. Both of those teams seek to continue their momentum from their previous wins.
