It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Joel Barlow Falcons had no problem doing just that on Saturday. In a tight match that could have gone either way, they made off with a 21-20 win over the Indians. Winning may never get old, but Joel Barlow sure is getting used to it with their sixth in a row.
Leading Joel Barlow to victory were Luke Bishop and Jack Gilbert. Bishop rushed for 54 yards and a touchdown on only five carries, while Gilbert rushed for 52 yards and two touchdowns.
Joel Barlow's win bumped their record up to 9-4. As for Watertown, their loss dropped their record down to 7-6.
